Bootstrappers -
Founder Stories Platform
A publication that tells the stories of bootstrapped founders, powered by Acquire.com,
with categories, a weekly newsletter and resources for people building profitable companies.

Project Details
Bootstrappers is a publication about founders who built profitable businesses without venture capital, powered by Acquire.com, the startup acquisition marketplace. Each story covers how a founder started, grew and sometimes sold their company, from SaaS tools and agencies to marketplaces and apps.
Readers can browse featured and latest stories, or explore categories such as Education, Apps & Tools, Leisure & Culture, Sales & Marketing, Community, and Engineering & Transport, each with its own sub-categories. A weekly newsletter sign-up appears across the site, and a Learn section links to founder resources including a SaaS valuation calculator, an academy and an acquisition stories podcast. Founders can also submit their own story through a "Tell us your story" form.

The Business Challenge
Founder stories only work if readers can find the ones relevant to them and come back for the next one. The publication needed a fast, editorial-quality site that could grow to hundreds of stories across many categories, keep pagination and archives easy to browse, turn casual readers into newsletter subscribers, and point them toward Acquire.com's tools without feeling like an advert.
The Solution Delivered
Harvions Tech built Bootstrappers with Next.js and a Node.js backend on PostgreSQL (AWS RDS). Stories are organised into nested categories with featured and latest sections and paginated archives, so the site stays easy to navigate as the library grows. Every story card shows its category and date, with an illustrated founder portrait in the publication's branded style. Newsletter sign-ups are built into the home page and footer, the Learn menu connects readers to Acquire.com resources, and a submission form lets founders pitch their own story.
